Carl Shura
Designer & Educator
Carl is a designer with over 12 years of strategic visual communication experience focused on identity and brand management, exhibits and installations, and type design.
He also teaches type design and communications at George Brown College SCHOOLOFDESIGN. As part of his type education odyssey, he completed the post-grad condensed type design program at The Cooper Union and a summer residency at SVA NYC TypeLab. In his spare time, he also runs a small digital type foundry, deptofletters.ca. He is a graduate of the Graphic Design program at Red River College in Winnipeg
