Talk: One Brick at a Time – Designing for Behaviour Change


Grace brings two decades of experience helping companies leverage design to differentiate and bring meaningful products and services to market. She is incredibly passionate about finding the intersection between what matters to people and how technology can help deliver it. Prior to Carrot, Grace spent 12 years at the global innovation consultancy IDEO. There, she led multidisciplinary teams and collaborated with startups, nonprofit organizations, and Fortune 500 companies like Samsung, NASA, AARP, and ConAgra. Grace also co-led IDEO’s Food and Beverage practice and served as Executive Director of IDEO’s Design for Health practice. She holds multiple patents and was awarded Fast Company’s Innovation By Design Award for her work on the patient and employee experience for Planned Parenthood. She is also an instructor of both undergraduate and graduate-level courses at Stanford University, focusing on using the design process to explore human connection in healthcare delivery.
